Step into The Palazzo Games this summer as Trafford Palazzo transforms into a spectacular Roman-inspired arena filled with fun, play, and adventure. Families can participate in free activities, including our Gladiator Joust, sporting challenges, creative craft stations, and live entertainment every Saturday.
Inspired by classical architecture, Roman statues, and modern sporting heroes, The Palazzo Games offers the perfect summer day out, whether you’re competing, crafting, or striking a pose on the winner’s podium.
Just drop in and join the action!
We're kicking off with a day of celebrations not to be missed!
There will also be guest appearances from everyone's favourite Roman mascot Maximus Palazzo and other Roman and sports themed characters.
Are your football skills on target?Kids can test whether their strikes will hit the mark with Toone's Target Test.

Test your golfing skills with our target practice
Thursday 14 & Friday 15 August
Get creative by crafting your very own laurel crown using gold card and leaves. Once finished, you can wear your crown proudly for photos on the podium or take them home as a keepsake!
Every Saturday from 26 July - 30 August 11am - 4pm
Get creative and colour in your favourite country’s flag – or design your own! You can take your flag home as a souvenir or strike a pose with it at our winner’s podium for a fun photo opportunity!
Every Thursday & Friday 11am - 4pm
Gladiators at the ready!
Challenge a friend to a Roman challenge with soft inflatable gladiator jousts.
Test your balance on raised podiums and gently try to knock each other off using foam batons.
Don't worry it's a soft landing and lots of fun!
5 - 11 August - no need to book!
Bitesize Bootcamp are bringing their rugby throwing skills sessions for kids are challenged to pass a ball through targets.
A great test of skill and so much fun too. @bitesizebootcamp
Monday 25 August - Saturday 30 August 11am-4pm
Everyone's favourite cuddly Roman will be out and about greeting visitors every Saturday during the games.
Plus his friends the living statues and sporting heroes will be joining him. Keep an eye out and don't forget to take a selfie!
This summer we're bringing all the live sport including Wimbledon, Women's Euros and Tour de France, favourite films and more to Trafford Palazzo with our Big Summer Screen. Join us in the event space where you can sit back, relax and and enjoy the summer vibes and it's all totally FREE!
