We're celebrating our new Metrolink tram stop in style

We're thrilled to announce a new partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester, marking an exciting step in making the experiential destination more connected and accessible for everyone.

Next stop, Trafford Palazzo

As part of the collaboration, the Metrolink stop previously known as Barton Dock Road has officially been renamed Trafford Palazzo, giving visitors a direct and seamless connection to the leading retail and immersive experiences offered within the centre.

With the Bee Network, visitors can enjoy affordable, frequent, and late-running tram services, every 12 minutes from Deansgate-Castlefield.

Pop up event

Saturday 8 November

To celebrate the occasion on Saturday 8 November, Trafford Palazzo will be hosting a pop-up style event with roaming modern living statues taking the tram from the new Trafford Palazzo Metrolink stop to Deansgate and back.

That’s not all, Trafford Palazzo will also be hosting a fun-filled event directly under the dome within the building. Visitors can expect a DJ in a Trafford Palazzo pink branded booth with dancing pink roller-skaters around the fountain. Plus, a pink tribute act will also provide the soundtrack to Saturday’s celebrations.

Look out for our branded trams...

The renaming of the Metrolink stop and Trafford Palazzo branded trams are set to launch from Tuesday 28 October, with the celebratory event taking place from mid-day on 8th November.

The rebranding will be supported by the introduction of two bespoke Trafford Palazzo wrapped Metrolink trams, bringing the destination’s distinctive identity to life across the city region.

Thanks to the Bee Network, customers visiting Trafford Palazzo can get affordable Metrolink tickets and passes on a frequent, fast and later running service, operating a 12-minute frequency from Deansgate-Castlefield.
